Created by Grace, the brand works through remake, improvisation, and poetic construction to resist singular style. Born in 2020, [shào-xī] BLUE began with a question: Can ‘art-things’ transform?
Each piece reflects a world of process: garments stitched from remnants, bags collaged from fragments, original prints, and silhouettes reshaped and left raw on purpose. Rooted in contemplation, fractured Americana, and the undone beauty of layered contradiction, the work moves between something sacred and something worn.
Born in LA and now based in Philadelphia, Grace weaves visual languages of freedom—unapologetically layered. Through [shào-xī] BLUE, she builds a body of work that explores transformation not just as sustainability, but as story, as protest, and as the ongoing search for a place of one’s own.
